Our Story

Influenced by the million men march, a talented group of Omega men returned home to the Evanston and North Shore communities, having liked minds and ideals pushed forward to establish the charter of Theta Kappa Kappa, an unincorporated chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc, on August 19, 1995.

The Chapter serves the Evanston and surrounding communities in the areas of Education, Health, Social Services, Family & Mentoring, and Politically.

The Chapter has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships, support Arts in education, health initiatives (Blood Drives, Breast Cancer Awareness, Mental Health, Male Health), and Financial awareness to name a few.

We are proud of our growing influence Socially, Educationally, Financially, and Politically in the community.

TKK Friendship Foundation, Inc.

TKK Friendship Foundation, Inc. a registered 501c3 organization, and philanthropic arm of the Theta Kappa Kappa, an unincorporated Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. The TKK Friendship Foundation collaborates with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and the Theta Kappa Kappa Chapter in many of its community initiatives. We explore opportunities to collaborate with other noteworthy organizations to better serve and meet the needs of Evanston and North Shore’s multicultural community.


The program recognizes leaders in the Evanston/North Sore community in the areas of business, education, medicine, community advocacy, as Citizen of the Year and an Omega Man who has most demonstrated the principles of the TKK Friendship Foundation. In the past 10 years alone, many individuals have been recognized for making a difference in the community.


Since 1995 Theta Kappa Kappa Chapter provides multiple annual scholarships each academic school year to deserving high school graduating seniors who demonstrates academic excellence. These scholarships are merit based and awarded during our Achievement Awards Dinner. Each of the scholarship recipients is recognized by receiving a plaque and a monetary award to attend the college or university of their choice.
